( ANALOG / DIGITAL HYBRID and CROSSOVER ARCHITECTURAL PHOTORGRAPHY )
The option and the challenge of using "crossover" or "hybrid techniques" in photography is quite tempting. By this I mean basically combining digital and analog photographic processes in oder to achieve more sophisticated photographic representations and visual results - images with more depth and character and a more unexpected and intuitive visual appearance.
Fot this purpose I collect here some examples from architectural and urban photography. I include images from three european Cities: PARIS, BERLIN and PORTO. Those cities have a very long and distinctive form/structure, history and atmosphere ( aesthetic, lifestyle ). I used mainly a NIKON D800E digital camera with various manual AIS lenses and various analog cameras i.e. ZeroImage pinhole, Plaubel Makina67, Pentax67, Nikon FM2.

PARIS
What I present here is a mixture of digital shots with a NIKON D800E camera and a few shots a Plaubel Makina67 camera on film ( expired Kodak PORTRA 400VC ).BERLIN
here I have mixed analog images taken with a ZeroImage 6x6 pinhole camera with digital shots with a NIKON D800E camera. I found the results quite pleasant and my intention is to keep on going with this project ...
